The 1998 De Loach Vineyards Pinot Noir O.F.S. is an excellent wine with aromas of black cherries, and hints of smokiness and oak. Rich fruit flavors are followed by creamy cola components. The wine is layered and full in the mouth, with a medium body and an elegant, lingering finish.
This wine is lovely when paired with grilled quail or duck with a wild berry reduction, or a pork tenderloin with cranberries. We also recommend trying this wine with chocolate dipped strawberries...delicious!
