The art is in the blending with this wine, when the oak-aged wine is balanced with Sonoma and Mendocino fruit for a glass of Chardonnay bursting with real Chardonnay flavor. Pear, apple and citrus flavors are enhanced, not engulfed, by the light oak touch. It pairs beautifully with lemony dishes like veal or chicken piccata, or fish with a tart garnish.
