B.R. Cohn Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 1998
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon
Vineyard: B.R. Cohn Winery
Region: Sonoma County, California
The 1998 Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon is a result of a blending of the finest grapes produced from the 11 Olive Hill Estate Vineyards.
In 1998, the vineyard produced a lighter crop, producing exceptional flavors. This is a wonderful wine with intense flavors of black currant, cassis and rich dark chocolate.
Two years of aging in new premium French oak barrels softened the generous tannins which provides a long balanced finish.
With proper cellaring, this special wine promises maturing complexity for many years to come.
