Kenwood White Table Wine 2007
Varietal: Other White Wine
Vineyard: Kenwood Vineyards
Region: Sonoma County, California
A blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay.
Notes of ripe peaches, jasmine and pink grapefruit, with playful acidity on the palate; crisp, juicy mouth with a refreshing finish.
Kenwood has produced a high quality white table wine for over three decades. Crafted from fruit sourced from the North Coast, Monterey and Clarksburg appellations, this wine is delicious with a fruit/floral character and a refreshing finish.
The Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in stainless steel to preserve its naturally lively and fruity character, which is evident in this vintage of Kenwood's White Table wine. The Chardonnay, fermented in French oak, adds weight to the mouthfeel as well as hints of sweet vanilla and toast. After fermentation these lots were blended together to form a delicious, well balanced wine.
The crisp, bright fruit flavors of this versatile wine are perfect when served as an aperitif or with salads, fruit and cheese, light pasta dishes and fish.
